Frequently Asked Questions

The Playon program (and logoffplayon.com) is designed to help parents limit screen time for kids by encouraging them to engage in a variety of outdoor and offline activities, earn badges, participate in events, and make lasting memories!

Kids participate in a variety of activities sponsored by local businesses, earn badges, and can track their progress throughout the summer. Activities range from planting seeds to participating in scavenger hunts and more!

Lanyards will be handed out by the elementary schools before the school year ends. If your child does not receive one, extra lanyards can be picked up starting May 19th while supplies last at one of these locations:

At all participating UCCU  branches: Springville, Spanish Fork, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, and Provo locations

Yes! Go to settings and scroll down and click Show to show your child's Playon QR Code. Sponsors can scan this and it's just like scanning the lanyard card.

The kids earn rewards as they complete activities and collect badges. They do not need to cash in their badges or spend them. Badges are theirs to keep. Rewards can be redeemed once the child has collected the # of badges required for that reward.

Go to the rewards page to see if your child can redeem a reward.

 - Means earned and already redeemed

Yes, sign in on a computer (will not appear on mobile devices) and you should see a "Printable" tab on the Activities/Badges page.

IMPORTANT: Please check back as activity, sponsor, Digital Coupon Book information etc. can change from time to time! We recommend checking logoffplayon.com for the latest information.

Of course! They will need a lanyard with an attached Playon Card. They will be available May 19th and can be picked up at one of these locations:

UCCU Springville, Spanish Fork, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, and Provo locations

It happens. We know, we have kids too!

  1. Your first option is to use this site. Go to here and scroll down and click Show under "[Child's Name] Playon QR Code" and the same QR from your child's lanyard will appear. Sponsos can scan this QR on your phone, just like they would the lanyard.  (Also handy when your child forgets theirs at home!). You can even print this QR code and use it in place of your child's lanyard.
  2. Replacement lanyards can be picked up starting May 19th at one of these locations while lanyard supplies last:

UCCU Springville, Spanish Fork, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, Provo locations

IMPORTANT: If you receive a replacement lanyard, and your child has already earned badges, follow these steps:
Go to settings and update the Playon Card # for your child (see example below).

Your child's new Playon Card # is located beneath the QR Code on the new Playon Card.

Click "Save" Any badges already earned will automatically transfer to the new card.

DO NOT scan the replacement Playon Card and add your child a 2nd time or the system assumes it is a new child and badges will not transfer.

Yes, while lanyard supplies last! Lanyards can be picked up at one of these locations starting May 19:

UCCU Springville, Spanish Fork, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, Provo locations

The activities are geared toward elementary age kids. Ages 5-12 are ideal.

It is a book of digital coupons (accessible right from this site) with dozens of local deals.

  • Logoffplayon.com will also show you deals you may want to take advantage of while your kids are picking up their badges.
  • It also helps to support the costs of the Playon Program so we can keep bringing your family awesome activities.

Let's fight the screen-time battle together!

If your child earned and picked up a badge from the sponsor but it is not showing as completed in the system. There are multiple ways to fix the issue.

  1.  Revisit the sponsor and have them scan your child's lanyard.
  2. Contact the sponsor and provide your child's lanyard ID. Sponsor's can record badges manually from their dashboard page using that ID.
  3. Submit a "Record Badge Request" using this link:   Record Badge Request  You'll be able specify which badges are missing and upload a photo showing your child did receive them.

The most common cause is Safari running in “Privatemode, so when scanning it doesn’t know another tab is already logged in. To fix this, open safari and click the icon in the bottom right corner in Safari.

Switch from Private to a normal tab. Sign in and scan the QR again.

You can use the digital QR code in your settings instead. Go to settings, scroll down, and click Show to display your child's Playon QR Code—sponsors can scan this from your phone just like the lanyard. You can also print this QR code and use it in place of the lanyard.

Children are tied to the account they were registered with. Other guardians can create their own account to view badges and activities, but the kids will only appear under the original registration account. You can also share a child's badge progress with anyone from the dashboard page (Home icon).

Contact the program team and provide your child's lanyard ID number. Staff can manually redeem the badge on the back end of the system, or you can submit a 'Record Badge Request' with a photo as proof.

Yes, you can still participate in all activities even if the location is out of physical badges. Your child's lanyard can still be scanned toward badge collection and rewards. The badge counter on the website shows which locations are out of stock and when they'll be replenished.

There is also a new option this year to print badges from home, similar is size to badges given out. Printing on card-stock and laminating will help them last longer.

Yes, this can be edited in settings (gear icon).

No, but you can now share the child's "Trophy Case" page with them or anyone and see their progress and it won't require a login.

Points reward how challenging a quest is. Every quest is worth points based on its difficulty — a quick "just show up" activity is worth a couple, a big adventure up to 10. Your child's total is the sum from every badge they've earned. The leaderboard ranks by total points by default (you can switch it to badge count). Tackling tougher quests climbs the board faster than doing lots of easy ones.
